Locator Seats for 987 Valve Springs

As with all other areas in the valvetrain, the area where the spring sits also takes a beating. The old standard shims and/or seats simply will not hold up to the extreme pressures and high rpm found in today's performance engines. COMP Cams valve spring locators solve this problem and eliminate failures.

  • Outside Diameter of Outer Spring (in): 1.500 in.
  • Inside Diameter of Inner Spring (in): 0.570 in.
  • Locator Thickness (in): 0.060 in.
  • Inlet Diameter (in): 0.690 in.
